Cindy A. Hofner and her Legal staff are proud to announce that we have upgraded the WEB Search for our Case Management System as of Friday, May 4, 2012. The new web search product is named “Court View eAccess”

I believe that you find the product to be very user friendly. The new product, “CourtView eAccess” allows us more flexibility in what we are now able to offer to the outside user of our Case Management product.

You will find the ability to search cases by name; case number; case type; and by the attorney that is representing a party.

Once inside of a case, you will find more detailed information in regards to the party; docket and disposition information. In the docket information you are able to revise your search by date (ascending or descending); description (alphabetical).

Along with the above information, in the Criminal case subtype, we have added financial information for those that are interested in knowing what court costs, restitution, fines and any other court ordered fee are due and owing by the defendants; and what has been collected by my staff.

I encourage you to review this new product, “CourtView eAccess,” and provide us with some feedback (Cindy A. Hofner, Clerk of Courts). I know that there are proposed changes, so hopefully we will continue to improve the product.

We are pleased to be able to provide the convenience of paying by credit or debit cards for transactions at our Legal Office (court costs, fines and restitution payments).

You may pay:

by phone: 1-800-272-9829;

online at www.OfficialPayments.com (Official Payments Help Sheet);

or, in person at our office.

PLEASE be sure to provide us with your correct case number.

Please note:
1) This online and telephone service is only for payments for the Legal Office (court costs, fines and restitution payments).

2) Any payments accepted through the Official Payments system will be charged a convenience fee for its’ use. By law, County entities are not allowed to be charged as merchants for this service.

3) Your bank may have limits on the dollar amount of your transaction, OR the number of transactions that may be made daily to your credit or debit card. Please be aware of these limits.

4) Official Payments has a transaction limit of $500.00. If your payment is over $500.00 you must do a separate transaction and a another convenience fee will be charged.

5) A delay of up to "one business day" may occur before the transaction will be assessed to your account.
