The Wood County Domestic Relations Court is a special division of the Wood County Court of Common Pleas. Special means that only certain types of cases can be heard here. cases involving:
  • divorce;
  • dissolution of marriage;
  • legal separation;
  • and annulment for people who live within the borders of Wood County;
  • foreign support (for parents where one resides outside of the county's borders);
  • civil domestic violence;
  • all matters which are related to the termination of marriage or domestic violence, includes child custody, visitation between parents and their children, child support, property division, division of debts, and spousal support.
